The Logitech MX Anywhere 2S can be connected via Bluetooth as well as with the Logitech Unifying receiver. You do not need an adapter for a Bluetooth connection, as the mouse can communicate directly with Bluetooth-enabled devices such as notebooks. However, if you want to use the Unifying receiver, you need a USB connection for the receiver, but no adapter for the Bluetooth connection.
