No, these RAM dummies fill 1 RAM slot and cannot be attached to an existing module. This means that if, for example, you have a motherboard with 4 or 8 RAM slots and only buy 2x Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro, you can fill the remaining slots with the RGB dummies for "purely" optical purposes.
