ä ö ü can actually be written with any keyboard, you just have to know how. You must mean whether it is a German or Swiss keyboard. On the German (Deutschland) keyboard, the umlauts are upper and lower case on one key each. On the Swiss keyboard, the umlauts are only lower case, but à é è is on these keys. Large umlauts still work with various 'tricks'.
As you can see from the previous answer, the keyboard is really Swiss German, although the pictures always refer to German Germany. I no longer need to ask this question.
