Dear community, What happens if I install this 3000mhz ram on a mainboard that runs at a maximum of 2800mhz (i.e. the ram)? Would the ram then just run at 2800mhz or what? Greetings

Yes, the suggested ram speed is 3000mhz, but it will run fine at lower speeds. Some ram can also be overclocked to higher speeds depending on the motherboard capability, but then the manufacturer takes no responsibility for failure.
