Do I need special software for the product or is it also possible to print via Microsoft Word (with adjusted paper format) via USB? Can receipts be written on Word and printed out? Thank you

A "normal" Windows printer driver can be installed and then printing from any programme is possible.
However, in order to use all the functions of the printer (barcode, QR code, logo buffer, auto cutter, ...), the device must be controlled with OPOS/UPOS (ESC commands).
