Do the cameras react quickly? How long does it take for the sensor to react and start recording? Reolink is so slow that many things are simply not recorded... Data protection issue: if the data is stored in the Homebase, do you have the same problem? or is that only the case if it is stored in the cloud?

Reaction time varies, but for me it's more like 1-2 seconds. But it depends a lot on the situation. I think data protection is only a problem if you want a preview in the app messages (motion alarm). I think they go via Eufy Cloud. Without a preview, everything remains local on the Homebase. Or what do you mean by "data protection problem"?
