Question about Corsair Commander Pro

Does anyone here use it to control the CPU fan? This is generally not recommended and would have to be explicitly ignored in the BIOS, otherwise the PC won't boot anyway. My MoBo fan controller from my old ASUS Z270F leaves a lot to be desired and the AI Suite is just additional bloatware.

Yes, I wonder why not. I rebuilt it yesterday because I no longer have my Corsair AIO and need a separate controller for my old CPU cooler. On the one hand, the fans on the MB run at full power for several seconds when switched on, initialisation takes forever with all the hardware and especially after standby they always run at full power and are no longer controlled. I can also configure it more precisely here, especially the minimum speed.

So why not? In the ICue software you can then link the fan control to the CPU temperature, should work. You just have to switch off the CPU fan control measurement in the bios, otherwise the PC may not start.
