Does anyone know how to upgrade the firmware from C4.0 to C9.0? Unfortunately there are no download links at Optoma and I have read that you first have to upgrade to C6.0 and then C9.0. In addition, there is unfortunately no over the air upgrade function in my FW version.

You can update via USB stick. I have updated to the C08 this way. Simply write to Optoma support via the contact form: https://www.optoma.de/support/technical-support-form and you will receive a Dropbox link with firmware file and instructions. Very fast and nice support. It worked without any problems.
