Question about LG HU85LS
Does anyone know if a successor model will be released in the near future? I am looking for a short-throw projector with HDMI 2.1 (next-gen console capable). At the moment, only LG and Samsung offer reasonably usable short-distance projectors. Perhaps other manufacturers will jump on board, e.g. Sony? Unfortunately, I haven't heard anything about this in the CES live sessions so far.
LG HU915Q is the name of the official successor, which should be on the market soon.
According to initial information, unfortunately, it will again not have a native 4K display :-/

The HU810P is not a short-range projector and therefore not a successor...
I'm also researching this, I've been looking at CES, USA/Asia and haven't found a clue. Digitec shows the only one with the "sale price" and the fact that it sells more devices at this price than it has in stock itself...still doesn't help and therefore only wait...
