Does anyone know if the controller is wired (it says wired in the description) or wireless. The wireless adapter would make no sense if it was wired. But I want to be sure before buying. Does it also work with a PC.

It supports both types of connection (wireless or cable). The controller has a USB micro-B input for this purpose. However, a cable is not included. And it also works on the PC.
