The Verbatim 43890 Blu-Ray burner must be connected to a USB port on a PC or MAC. It is the burning software (NERO,...) that supports the 4K UHD format of the video displayed on the PC or MAC. In this case, the answer is: yes.
Not tried on the USB port of a 4K TV. Question to ask the TV supplier.
