Neither - it is simply a normal adapter (fixed cable) that can only be unplugged at the station. There is a small round power plug on it.

Neither. The stand is connected via a cable supplied with it, which connects directly to the mains.

Many thanks for the answers. It's a pity, they don't seem to have really understood the Apple system, let alone the sense of the PD protocol via USB-C.
