Does "Made for Germany" mean that the TV can only be used in Germany? Will I need an adapter to connect the TV to a Swiss socket?

It doesn't normally make any difference, unless you use cable channels. But most people have subscriptions nowadays. Also, regarding the plug, if the plug is European, a mini adapter will be supplied free with the TV. This will make absolutely no difference to the use of the goods.
