Does the cable have USB 3.1, i.e. the one with 10 GB/s? I want to use it as an extension for my USB hub, to which I also connect a monitor. The hub is theoretically capable of 4K at 60hz. Is that supported by the cable? Can someone try this out?

Not this USB-C charging cable. I can't even run my DELL screen on my MacBook Pro with it. Just tried it... but the 80cm Thunderbolt 3 cable from Apple supports USB 3.1 and transfer rates up to 40GBit/sec. and works great on hubs and monitors, I connected mine to it:
