According to Samsung : 
SIM slot
Sim 1 + Hybrid (Sim or MicroSD) or embedded Sim

DigitecGalaxus has a version SM-A546BZKDEUE according to the description..and if everything on this Samsung page above would be correct - eSIM will work (please check it yourself if you type SM-A546BZKDEUE in Google) - according to Samsung it is ok.
