Does the G.Skill DIMM 16GB DDR4-3200 fit well with MSI B450 TOMAHAWK and AMD Ryzen 5 2600X or are there problems with the combined DDR4-3200? It doesn't matter whether it runs at 3200Mhz or 2933Mhz. mfg
or do you have to run the ram at "2933MHz" because of the "AMD Ryzen 5 2600X"?
Yes, works without problems on 3200MHz
In principle, you can combine two RAMs with different clock speeds. The motherboard simply reduces the clock of the higher RAM to the lower clock, whereby there are also incompatible RAMs which cause the motherboard not to boot at all. It is also possible that your motherboard has a RAM MHz limit, which would of course have to be adjusted manually.
