Does the Homebase have to be connected via a LAN cable or can it also be connected via WIFI?

For the setup, the Homebase must be connected via LAN, after that no more. However, only 2.4GHz networks work:

I can't say 100%, but I think it's via LAN cable. I have 2 Home bases because there are a lot of walls in between. Works perfectly.
