Does the "K" version also work on the H470 chipset? Does it then automatically run at 4.1GHz and does the combination make any sense at all? The mainboards with H470 instead of Z490 are a lot cheaper.
All 10th generation chips with socket LGA 1200 work on H470.
However, the K versions are the overclocking chips. This feature is not enabled on H470. So you would not get some of the performance you paid for. The chip would run at 4.1 GHz plus boost, correct.
