The Ryzen 2700G ran without problems after we reset the CMOS via the jumper and then set up the computer via VGA (it didn't want HDMI at first). The prerequisite, however, is that the BIOS of the B550M is fairly up-to-date (this was the case when we bought it, it was version P2.3, as shown on the sticker on the mainboard), otherwise it would have been tedious, because the update for the B550M is only possible with a compatible CPU, because the mainboard has no flashback. But it worked very well for us.
