Does the Thunderbolt 3 side also go to a Thunderbolt 4 connector to connect a Thunderbolt 2 device? I am currently using the adapter to connect a Thunderbolt 3 hard drive to an iMac still with Thunderbolt 2. I also have a Thunderbolt 2 hard drive. Can I use the adapter in reverse with a Mac Studio (Thunderbolt 4) to attach the Thunderbolt 2 hard drive? The Thunderbolt 3 hard drive can then be connected via a normal Thunderbolt 3 or 4 cable?

Yes, it should work. I also use the adapter, for example, to operate Thunderbolt 2 RAID drives on the MacBook Pro with M1 (Thunderbolt 4).
