Also works with Win 7. Download the driver from the Microsoft homepage and off you go : ) I use the Elite Controller all the time.

Since I only use Win 10, I don't know if it is compatible with Win 7.
The controller comes with 2 batteries but without a micro USB cable.
However, you can buy one cheaply to use the controller via USB without batteries.
