The chances are very good.

The cable works with Oculus Quest as a link cable replacement.

I bought the cable for exactly this reason, but I couldn't get it to work. :(
I bought an extension cable 1.8m (Type A->A) which works with a small 50cm cable from a Samsung T5 SSD. So I don't think it's a direct problem with my port on the PC. But maybe the length also plays a role.

No! It does not work! It was only recognised on the USB 3.1 Type A port as soon as I started Oculus Link, nothing worked or Oculus Link crashed again and again. Connected to an SSD, the reason also became apparent: the 5 gigabits per second were nowhere near reached, I only reached USB 2.0 speeds at most.

Unfortunately, the cable does not work for me as an Oculus Link either.
