Does this card go in the MacPro 6.1 Late 2013? And the ST-NGFF2013 adapter too? This seems to be tricky, so I would like to ask people here who use the "wine bucket" with it. Thank you very much. Have you also installed a heat sink?

Hello,
Thank you very much for your request.
If your motherboard has an M.2 slot, you can use this SSD.
To be able to use the full performance of the SSD, the M.2 slot should have PCIe 3.0 with 4 lanes.
If in doubt, please contact the device manufacturer directly.
To find the right SSD for you and your system, take a look at the "SSD Configurator" on the Samsung homepage.
With a few short questions and in just a few minutes, we will find the right SSD for you.
To do this, please go directly to the Samsung homepage and place the mouse pointer over the "Computer" category, which is listed in the upper part of the screen.
Under the category "Recommended" you will find the "SSD Configurator", which you should select.
Alternatively, you can find the "SSD Configurator" by simply typing "Samsung - Which SSD is right for me?" into a search engine.
On the following pages you will be asked about your system and your personal requirements in order to find the right product for you.
Regarding your question about the SSD not overheating during operation, we can tell you that the drive module of the 970 EVO PLus is equipped with a thin heat spreader, and the Dynamic Thermal Guard function constantly monitors the drive. An optimal temperature is thus maintained.
Best regards from Schwalbach,
Your Samsung Service Team
Hi, for me the card runs in a MacPro 5.1 with the adapter. Unfortunately, I can't tell you if it will fit in your 6.1.
No appel has a different interface.
