Question about Genki ShadowCast Capture Card
Does this product also work when you want to transfer a picture from your mobile phone to your PC? Thank you for the answer.
The product is recognised as a webcam on the notebook. Instead of a CCD chip, as with a camera, the video signal is tapped directly at the HDMI port.
Unfortunately, the information provided by the manufacturer is extremely sparse:

It is not clear whether only 1080P and 4K are supported, or whether any resolutions are processed. Presumably the latter if you use your own camera software. The app probably only supports 1080p and 4K. So much for how it works.
So if you can somehow connect an HDMI-OUT adapter on your smartphone and together with this coupler, it might work.
