Question about AMD Ryzen 9 3900X

for budget reasons I need to build a PC. My question, would you choose this CPU or rather Ryzen 7 3700X AMD Ryzen 7 3700X (8, AM4, 3.60GHz)? I want to use the PC mainly for photo and video editing. For this I use Luminar 3/4. Luminar works multithreaded, with some projects I have observed up to 24 threads. The price premium to the 7 is not without, but I have read that the 9 is a multithreaded monster. I don't play, I really only want to edit photo/video. and additional question: 16 or rather 32 GB RAM? Thanks for your help.

so ram for sure 32gb, for videos almost more like 64gb... and ryzen 7 vs 9, it's just a question of how much money you want to invest... the platvorm is future-proof, so i would go for the 9 and only upgrade again in 8 years or so... but if you're going to upgrade in 4 years anyway, then the 7 isn't bad either, but it probably won't last 8 years...
