For professional printing from a Sony A7IV for example, is this valid for prints? Because I wanted the Pixma Pro 200, but given the price, I was wondering if the difference in quality is really noticeable?

The resolution up to A3+ is always sufficient. I print from mobile 12 MP, Olympus 20 MP, compact camera 12 MP and the prints are very good. I previously had an Epson printer for more than CHF 1000 and it wasn't really visibly better for me. Attention: the right choice of photo paper and cartridges is a prerequisite.
