funny question, i currently have a ryzen 2700x and my current motherboard is reaching its limit. I have my graphics card, a 10Gb network card, a navme m.2 ssd and 4 sata slots occupied. I plan to add an elgato game capture (PCIe variant) in the future. is this possible with the motherboard or is it also at the limit of the PCIe lanes?

What do you mean, your motherboard is reaching its limit?

It may well be that the chipset is a limiting factor, but that rarely happens.

How do you determine this limit? How does this limit manifest itself?
