Good day I bought the Magic Mouse on 26.03. from Ihenen. Unfortunately, the mouse does not work properly on my old Mac OS X Yosemite version 10.10.5. I can't upgrade to a newer operating system. I can click left-right and move. But the tracking function does not work. On the old battery-operated mouse everything worked perfectly. Is there a trick to get the mouse to work properly? Magic Mouse 2 requires Mac OS X 10.11 or later, while the previous model worked with batteries from 10.5.6.

Unfortunately, there are no tricks that I know of. Besides, Yosemite is very old and should be upgraded for security and compatibility reasons. Have a look at the information "About this Mac" (apple symbol in the upper left corner) to see exactly what model it is. On the internet you can find the technical requirements for the respective macOS. This way you can find out if an upgrade is still possible. Kind regards
