Question about Delock Monitor splitter HDMI

Good day Initial situation: My HP laptop has an HDMI and a VGA port. However, it does not have a DVI port. Objective: Connecting two monitors (DVI ports each) to my laptop which "expand" the image (no double display on the monitors, but two different displays). Question: For the HDMI port, I got the necessary cable HDMI (laptop) -> DVI (on the monitor). What do I need for another cable that works from the VGA port (on the laptop) -> DVI (on the monitor) so that I have one picture on each of my two monitors? Thanks for the help.

However, the splitter does not solve your problem. Your monitor with DVI in probably also has a VGA in. Just use this one. Otherwise, you still have two options. 1. the monitor has a DVI-I input. Then you can use a VGA to DVI-I cable. If not, you have to buy an active adapter. This converts the analogue signal into a digital one. Hope this helps you for now. =)
