Good to know that the resolution is ONLY 640x480. SD is 720x576, so more of the already low SD resolution is unnecessarily lost, making it unsuitable. Is there a similar device that can do full SD resolution? + PAL, NTSC, and PAL60?

Before buying, I had looked at what products were available. There were hardly any alternatives!
The small reduction doesn't matter any more, I think. The resolution is very modest anyway. So look on the bright side: VHS vintage look. What bothers me more: With 16:9 the picture is cropped, UTs are partly no longer readable.
