Question about G.Skill Aegis
G.Skill Aegis (1x, 16GB, DDR4-3200, DIMM 288) on mainboard AsRock Z490 Extreme4 gives maximum 3000Mhz with overclock in default 2133Mhz. My question would be why does the memory not give the maximum frekvens of 3200Mhz? LG
Depends on the respective mainboard or CPU.
For example, I have an ASRock Fatal1ty AB350 motherboard and a Ryzen 7 3700x CPU. My PC runs stable there with the working memory set to 3200 MHz.
Alternatively, I would recommend doing a BIOS update. Most likely, this will fix the error.
