Question about Ugreen Nexode Desktop

Had bought the device and was super satisfied until this "serial error" with failure of a port occurred. Received another Anker device from Digitec (great service!) without any problems. Now the original from Ugreen is available again at reasonable prices. Plan to buy it again (performance is great). Does anyone know if this port failure is now fixed? Many thanks
