As far as I know, it only works with Dropbox. The integration of the app into the Dropbox universe is quite tight, so you see, for example, on each picture whether it is on Dropbox or not.
Or the FTP access mentioned above. It doesn't necessarily have to be in-house, if you have a domain with hosting somewhere on the internet, you'll certainly have FTP access there too.
