Hello, can the notification tones be set individually in each APP? E.g. sound for Hangout? And 2nd question: can the Tab also be placed upright in the dock holder? Thanks a lot

Hallo, you can only place it horizontally in the dock. I don't know about the ringtones, probably you can find a third party app for that. It's a good tablet at a fair price. Hope it helps.
