Hello! Can this docking station be connected to a USB 3.0/3.1 data port, for example, and then expand to 2 external monitors, e.g. the laptop image? Many thanks!

Hello, this is exactly what the part is intended for. With the right USB connection (depends on the NB), even the NB can be charged. This gives you a fully-fledged workstation without having to connect X cables. It is definitely recommended.

Hello,
Yes it works, I have tried it.
The supplied USB-C cable has an adapter to USB 3 and my laptop can connect to both ports with full functionality of the station.
Only via USB 3 adapter no charging current via the port as with USB-C.

Hello, yes that should work! 2 monitors are possible, USB 3 and USB-C too!
