Hello Digitec Community Can I connect my Macbook Air M1 with a Usb C cable to this monitor and then connect an external CD drive via a Usb 3.0 cable? (->So to the monitor) And would the movie then run on the monitor or what would I have to do to make it work? Thanks in advance

Attention, this screen can cause problems with MacBools. Had ordered one and it was not compatible with my MacBook pro 2016 (the problem was also confirmed after a quick google search and Digitec phone). So I would do a research to see if the screen fits with the M1 models at all. Bought an equivalent Dell model instead, which works without problems.

Monitor can supply up to 90W for notebooks. That's enough for your Macbook at the most.
I use the USB ports on the monitor for mouse, headset, external discs etc. on my notebook which is connected via USB-C and it works perfectly.
