Hello everyone (I am not experienced in this topic) I wanted to install the ssd in the free space on my HP OMEN 30L GT13-1954nz gaming PC but it does not recognise the ssd. What do I have to do ? Do I need another ssd ? Which one would be the right one? Thank you very much.
Go into your Windows PC and enter DiskPart in the bottom right-hand corner and open the programme. You need to create a new partition for the SSD.

Hello,
Thank you very much for your enquiry.
For the Samsung SSD 870 EVO SATA III 2.5 inch, your HP Gaming PC requires a SATA 6 Gb/s interface, although the SSD is also compatible with a SATA 3 Gb/s & SATA 1.5 Gb/s interface, as well as a free mounting bay in the 2.5 inch form factor.
If in doubt, please contact the device manufacturer directly.
To find an alternative SSD for your motherboard, you can easily use the "SSD Configurator" on the Samsung homepage.
With a few short questions and in just a few minutes, we will find the right SSD for you.
To do this, please go directly to the Samsung homepage and place the mouse pointer over the category "Computer", which is listed in the upper part of the screen.
Under the category "Recommended" you will find the "SSD Configurator", which you should select.
Alternatively, you can find the "SSD Configurator" by simply entering "Samsung - Which SSD is right for me?" into a search engine.
On the following pages you will be asked about your system and your personal requirements in order to find the right product for you.
Best regards from Schwalbach,
Your Samsung Service Team
Hello,
Download EaseUS PartionMaster for free, take it as a test version and see if this programme recognises the SSD. If Windows does not recognise an SSD, EaseUS must find it, otherwise the SSD is useless.
Good luck.
