Question about Sonos Port

Hello everyone Am I understanding this correctly? To connect my LG TV (oled55b1) with my Sonos / Symfonisk speakers I need another Sonos port. And since my TV has no RCA/coax out, I would have to connect an "HDMI Audio Extractor" so that I can get the sound from my LG TV to my SONOS speakers? PS: No... I don't use Apple AirPlay or anything else from Apple

Your plan would work, but I would definitely advise against it; the signal from the port input comes out of the speakers with a delay of about 2 seconds. Probably pretty useless for television.

Hey, I would go for a Sonos soundbar (Arc, Ray, Beam) and connect your Sonos speakers to the soundbar. I have an Arc on my LG oled55, 2xOne SL as surround and a sub in use.

I'm not sure whether your plan will work with the port, but it could probably be difficult with the volume control, surround sound, audio codecs, etc.
