Hello everyone...I have bought the Radeon RX 9060 XT, as far as I have seen correctly, it has a DisplayPort 2.1(a). My ASUS ROG STRIX B650E-F GAMING WIFI has a DisplayPort 1.4...Does this mean that I can only use the bandwidth of 1.4, even if the monitor is connected to the 2.1 port of the GK? Maybe a stupid question but it's been a long time with the PC set up etc..

Yes, that is exactly the case. If you connect your monitor to the DisplayPort 2.1 port on the graphics card, but your motherboard only supports DisplayPort 1.4, the connection will be limited to the DisplayPort 1.4 standard. The devices agree on the lowest common standard, so you can effectively only use the bandwidth and functions of DisplayPort 1.4. But this is not a stupid question - it's a common situation when upgrading components.

Automatically generated answer is incorrect.

If a displayport 2.1 cable is connected to the gpu with 2.1 port then you get 2.1 bandwidths. This is completely independent of the mainboard, unless you connect the cable to the mainboard.
(Of course only if your monitor supports this)
