hello guys, i have assembled my pc and have installed 4x 32GB G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB 6400 mhz on this mainboard. but i only get 3600 mhz i switched on the docp but it doesn't even want to start anymore i also switched to 4800 mhz with the docp and it doesn't work either. can it be that i have the wrong rams? do i have xmp rams and need expo or something? what can i do i only paid 512 chf for the rams, the pc doesn't run cleanly somehow. please help and or advice, i have read that you can also download or make the rams manually with cl but i am a complete amateur in such things. thanks in advance
I have the same problem 1 to 1. So far I haven't found a forum that explains how to reach 6,000 MHz anyway. I'm looking forward to an answer.
It's a bit complicated to explain here in a few words. Yes, you can't go beyond 3600Mhz (basic if you have 4x32) If you have 2x32Gb, it's possible to go up to 6000Mhz. But the problem is the 4x slots, for the moment according to my information the motherboard has not been tested for 4 memory slots at 6000Mhz) But it can be done, for that you have to manually overclock the Ram in the BIOS. And the motherboard is originally locked at 3600Mhz to protect it from heat. I have 4 Ram and after several days of testing I managed to get them to 4000Mhz 4x16Gb (I have 4x16 Trident Z5 neo DDR at 6000Mhz.) You have to wait for a BIOS update to correct this problem).
AM5 only runs on 6400Mhz with a lot of luck, 6000 is already tight and no chance with a full load. Also why do you need 128GB Ram😅. As an amateur, you won't have much fun setting ram, it's very complicated. It's best to leave out 2 and put the other 2 in A2 and B2, maybe it will work then.
If you have no idea why you buy ram for 500 😅
