Question about Reolink RLC-510WA
Hello - how long is the cable to the power supply unit? - is the power supply unit also IP66 protected? - can Infratot also be effectively selected as the motion detector?
- The cable from the power supply unit is approx. 1.5m long.
- a standard power supply is usually never IP65, as the corresponding socket is not waterproof when "in use".
- Motion detection is via video image, not via infrared (PIR), this can be configured extensively and needs a few days and nights of testing until the optimal setting for the situation/environment is found.
Use the camera from time to time, but then with a special power supply unit in an IP65 junction box, whereby the entire installation is then weatherproof...
