By using an application that can mount the device/media support, and even if Android doesn't recognise the format, perhaps VLC will do the trick (at least VLC claims to support DVDs on Android).

I hardly think that copying using the "direct method" is possible. I tried connecting the ASUS ZenDrive to my Sony Xperia 1V. However, it was not possible to copy data.
I always take the "diversions" via my ASUS ZenBook and then copy my data, pictures and CD music to the Sony Xperia 1 V.
