Helpful answer

I don't think so.
On your motherboard, on the TPM connector there is no pin on No 10. On the module proposed by Digitec it's No 14 which has no pin.
However, you can activate a virtual TPM in your BIOS.
This is the fTMP function. You may need to update your BIOS if this function is not yet available in your current BIOS.
The processor must support the encryption function

Hello bailleker,
I had actually ordered this module, but since I have an ASRock motherboard, I had to return it. The ASUS Tpm-Spi does not fit in the slot of the ASRock. Note: the slots must fit!

I asked KI, KI says yes:
your ASUS Prime B450M A motherboard has a 14 1 pin SPI TPM header, as officially listed in the datasheet under "internal connectors" ASUS Global. This means you can install an ASUS TPM SPI module (model 90MC07D0 M0XBN1) on it.
________________________________________
- Your board provides the correct SPI TPM header.
- The ASUS TPM SPI (90MC07D0 M0XBN1) fits mechanically and is electrically compatible.
- The official user guide describes the installation exactly: Insert the module into the SPI_TPM header, call up BIOS under Advanced → Trusted Computing, set Security Device Support and TPM State to Enabled there

Hello bailleker
You have to read in your mainboard manual whether such a module is supported at all, if so you have to pay attention to the connections (pin) there are also differences.

Phew... It's been a long time since I installed the module. It depends on what you want to do with it. If you want to install it as additional security on your mainboard or if you want it to run Windows 11. So if you need the module to install Windows 11 I would advise against it, that was my idea at the time. But then I had to change the mainboard sooner or later. Long story short ;-)
