Hello After a continuous load of 1.5 hours at 63 watts charging power (1xusbc PD) and a power consumption of 76 watts, my power supply unit becomes approx. 78°C hot. Is this normal? Many thanks for your answers.

I haven't measured mine, but the power density of this device is very high because it is so compact. It does indeed get quite hot under prolonged full load. I strongly suspect that this is normal. But if you need 63W as continuous power, I would personally recommend a more powerful device that doesn't run permanently at the limit. Just my two cents...

I have measured it in the meantime: After 1 hour at just under 60W (USB-C 1&2), I measured an average of 45-50° with the IR thermometer, max 62° at one point. It feels warm to the touch, but not hot. I think your measurement is normal after prolonged full load, especially if it is a single point and you can still touch the device.
