This reader only supports XQD 2.0 cards, recognisable by the USB symbol on the cards.
XQD 1.0 uses a PCIe interface.
XQD 2.0 uses a PCIe interface as well as a USB interface.
This reader only supports the USB interface of the XQD card and is therefore not backwards compatible with XQD 1.0.
