Hello I have received a Gigaset DX800A. I thought it would be easy to connect, I just had to pull out my analogue cable from my old phone and plug it into the Gigaset. Fiddlesticks. First I reset the phone and deleted all the settings. The phone doesn't recognise my analogue connection and the installation wizard wants to configure the phone with either ISDN or VOIP. After the configuration, I get the message, please check the telephone connection. Of course, if the phone does not recognise an analogue connection. I have a normal analogue cable from Sunrise. I have heard that maybe the cable has to be reversed somehow. Or can you get the appropriate cable from the Sunrise shop (PJ??)? Thanks Tiborius
