Hello, I haven't found a really precise answer about wall mounting. I have a 55" TV. Do I have to fix the stand to the wall or not? Thanks

No, you don't need to attach the bracket. In our house, the stand is on the wall and is not screwed on. The TV holds perfectly, unless of course you tug at it, but otherwise nothing tilts even without a screw in the wall.
