Hello My PC is defective and I would like to read out my Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 HDD. Which USB adapter do I need for this? Thank you for your help. LG Dani

With the adapter, the HDD (removed from the PC) can then be used on a USB port like an external hard disk. It may be necessary to assign a drive letter in the DskManager. This worked for me without any problems.
