Question about i-tec Dualdock
Hello! Sorry for the question - I'm a tech newbie and hope I can get some help :) I ordered this product for my home office (have an HP notebook with Windows 10), I guess I can't avoid installing a suitable driver, can I?(my employer blocks such installations without prior approval) Also so that the charging function is activated and so that when 2 screens are connected I can close the laptop without it shutting down & without having to use it as a 3 screen? (It's already set up that way in the office, hence the question). Thanks a lot! Kind regards Jessy
Hello - according to the manual, no driver installation is necessary under Win10. If necessary, uninstall the existing DiskLink driver first in order to install the latest driver when connecting the I-Tec dock. However, admin rights are required here. Good luck and greetings - Xela

Charging will probably work without drivers. But for the screens and the other connections, you will certainly need to install the appropriate drivers. The manufacturer's website is https://i-tec.pro/de. There you search for the appropriate driver and install it. The first hit there is i-tec Docher Pro - and it is not.
Go to the title "User manuals, drivers" and you will find everything there.
