I don't think so, because the printer does not print with a specific medium. Actually, it works like a thermal printer, which in this case activates certain colour crystals on the print medium through certain heat. Whether a different thermal print roll is compatible would have to be tested. The next problem would be the feed because the label roll would also have to fit.
